Who we are
Log Price Guide is a UK firewood and log-supplier comparison site at logpriceguide.com. The site is supported by RippleKeep, a review-growth service. Questions about this notice: hello@logpriceguide.com.
What this covers
This notice covers personal information we receive when you:
- claim or update a supplier listing
- email us or use a contact form
- share customer price feedback
- browse the site while Google Analytics is running
Public supplier listings are business information compiled for the guide. If a listing includes a contact name or similar personal detail, we treat correction requests seriously.
What we collect
From listing claims and contact forms we typically receive a business name, supplier ID or listing URL if you came from a profile page, contact name, email, phone, website, Google profile link, delivery areas, prices, and the correction you want us to make.
From site analytics we receive usual usage data such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and referral source. We use Google Analytics 4 with measurement ID G-KWQTYZEXKG.
We do not ask for payment card details on this site. Listing checks are free.
Why we use it
We use this information to review listing corrections, reply to you, keep the guide more accurate, and understand which pages are useful. That is a legitimate interest in running a public comparison site.
If we ever offer optional email or SMS tips, that marketing is separate. It should be optional, unchecked by default, and easy to stop. A free listing check does not depend on promotional consent.
Forms and processors
Claim and survey forms are currently hosted by GoHighLevel through link.aifusionautomations.com. Submissions go to the people who run Log Price Guide so we can process the request.
Google processes analytics data for us. If you follow a RippleKeep link, RippleKeep’s own site and privacy terms apply to that visit. RippleKeep is optional; the listing check does not require it.
We do not sell personal data. We do not use this site to send unsolicited supplier spam.
How long we keep it
We keep claim and contact details for as long as we need them to handle the request and maintain the related listing. Analytics data is kept according to our Google Analytics settings. We will delete or anonymise information when it is no longer needed, or sooner if you ask and we have no lawful reason to keep it.
Your rights
UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018) gives you the right to ask for a copy of your information, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict some uses, and to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
To use those rights, email hello@logpriceguide.com. We may need to check who you are before we change or delete a record.
Cookies and analytics
The site uses Google Analytics, which sets cookies or similar identifiers so we can see aggregate traffic. You can block analytics cookies in your browser. Doing that does not stop you using the guide.
Changes
If this notice changes in a material way, we will update this page and the date above. For listing corrections, you can still email hello@logpriceguide.com or use the claim listing form.
